Hi, I’m Rebecca. I’m a freelance editor, writer, and content strategist for brands and media companies, which means I do everything from top-line content strategy to voice/tone workshops to copywriting. My background is primarily in editorial and audience development—I was most recently the Deputy Content Director at mindbodygreen; and before that, I was the Health & Wellness Director at Refinery29. I also spent nearly four years at The Huffington Post covering fashion, lifestyle, and modern-day royals.

I’m passionate about health, natural skincare, sustainability, and the future of work—which is something I talk a lot about on my podcast, For Hire. I love getting behind companies I believe in and helping them share their unique stories with the world. Not sure how to craft a distinct voice and meaningful content to go along with it? Interested in optimizing your newsletter? Want to revamp your workflow to create a more efficient content team? Work with me!

On the weekends, you can find me riding my bike around Brooklyn, hitting up a farmer’s market with my husband (and probably talking about how much we want a dog but really just can’t deal with that responsibility right now), or finding new ways to use the items in my kitchen in my beauty regimen. I grew up between New York, California, and Texas, where I studied multimedia journalism at The University of Texas at Austin. I now live in Brooklyn with my husband and three houseplants perpetually on the verge of death.
